Berlin-based German company Carbon Mobile has unveiled a new smartphone, the Carbon 1 MK II, which is the industry's first carbon fiber android phone. The Carbon 1 MK II has a 6.0-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2160x1080.
But using carbon fiber, the phone is only 6.3mm thick and weighs just 125g.
For comparison, the 3.5-inch iPhone 4 weighs 140g and the 5.15-inch mi 6 weighs 168g. Today's phones with screens of more than 6 inches generally weigh more than 200 grams. The Carbon 1 MK II will go on sale this summer for 800 euros.
